Hello!
My name is BJ Christensen, and I am so excited to be teaching 7th and 8th grade here at Rogers Adventist School. This is my second year at Rogers and I have loved my time here. I've had the privilege of teaching young people for the past 18 years in Boring, OR and as a Student Missionary at Pohnpei SDA school. My goal is to build meaningful relationships with each of my students and to facilitate their academic, social and spiritual growth.
About me:
I was born and raised in Eastern Washington and graduated from WWVA and WWU. After College, I moved to Boring, OR., where I taught with and later married my amazing wife, Heather. Heather has taught off and on for 12 years and is currently studying Speech Pathology. We have been blessed with three incredible boys, Liam 10, and our twins Colin 8 and Mason 8.
In my free time, I enjoy playing a variety of team sports, skiing, snowboarding, and boating. I love spending time with my family camping, hiking and playing board games.
I look forward to another school year and building new relationships with my students and those in our community. God has big plans for each of us!
