Media Center—Audrey Campbell

Personal Information

I was born in Tennessee, lived in Florida and Texas, and finally made my way to Washington state.  I am married to Roy who teaches at Walla Walla University and we have one married son, John, who lives and works in Seattle.  I also have a spoiled cat named Brother who is my baby at home.  I enjoy reading, cross stitch, scrapbooking, and traveling. In the past few years, quilting has become my favorite hobby.  Sometimes I hang a quilt on the wall in the library.

Professional Information

I grew up in Florida and attended Adventist schools from first grade through college.  After I got married, I taught in a small two-teacher school, a one-room school, and also at a larger school. While living in Texas, I earned my M. Ed in Reading.  We moved to College Place in 2001 and I started working in the media center here at Rogers.  I love my job and feel fortunate to be here.  When people ask me where I came from, I tell them that I grew up in Florida, but I got here as fast as I could!
